| ONE "Red-Hot Mary" U.S. Attorney Jim Letten Start with 12 oz. V-8 Juice Add adequate amount of Worcestershire Sauce (enough to darken juice to almost brown) Squeeze a slice of lemon. Add dash of cayenne pepper. Add a significant amount of hot sauce or for those who really like it spicy, use Vietnamese Rooster Sauce. TWO THREE FOUR Stir the
honey and pomegranate juice together until the honey dissolves. Add
ginger ale and lightly stir. Place sprig of mint in the bottom of each
glass. Pour punch over mint. Place lime twist on glass rim and serve.
Serves four.
Combine water and chocolate, and cook over low flame until smooth, stirring constantly for about four minutes. Add sugar and salt, continue to cook and stir for about four minutes longer, until thick. Cool. Whip cream. Fold chocolate mixture into cream. To serve:
place two heaping tablespoons of mixture in a mug. Fill with hot milk.
Stir with peppermint stick. Chocolate mixture can be made the day before,
and stored in the refrigerator. SIX Pour all
ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker.
Combine chilled coffee and milk; add chocolate syrup and sugar. Stir. Put one or two scoops of vanilla ice cream into four six-ounce glasses. Pour the coffee blend over the ice cream. Top with canned whipped cream and garnish with chocolate chips. Makes four
6-ounce servings.
Mix ingredients
over ice. Serve in tall glass. Garnish with peach slice.
Combine ingredients with ice in pitcher or cocktail shaker, and stir or shake. Strain to remove ice, and serve in chilled martini glass. Garnish with cherry and lime slice.
Chill martini glass by filling with ice water until ready to use. In a cocktail
shaker over ice, use 2 ounces blood orange juice (can substitute regular
orange juice but will be weaker), 2 ounces extra spicy ginger ale and Empty ice water from martini glass, shake cocktail until cold and pour into glass. To make the topping garnish, reuse the cocktail shaker and add the egg white and 2 ounces of ginger ale. Shake vigorously, but be careful to not let the top blow off from the carbon dioxide release of the ginger ale. This will
make a creamy foam that you spoon over the cocktail.
Combine
the Strawberry Daiquiri mix with ice, and a dash of Sprite in a blender
until smooth. In a second blender, combine the Pina Colada mix with
a dash of Sprite with ice, and blend until smooth. Then in a festive
glass, pour the mixtures in together so they mix into a colorful, cool,
and tasty drink. Garnish with orange slice. |
