Interactive Account Executive
Experience: Duties include selling to local advertisers & agencies. Developing a list of accounts to realize the maximum number of dollars on a long term basis. You must also be able to interpret meaningful statistical information. You will follow-up on business sold to make sure it runs as ordered; collect competitive sales information & develop sales presentations; make sure that all paperwork relating to sales is accurately & promptly entered into BI system; suggest new business possibilities & seek out new business opportunities; work with other internal sales groups to develop integrated sales packages for interested clients/agencies; work with management on any potential credit or collections issues.
Qualifications: To work with us, you'll need excellent communication and presentation skills, good organizational and prospecting skills, highly motivated, strong understanding of the web and the marketing opportunities to potential advertisers, and minimum 2 years experience in a sales environment, media sales preferred. Experience in online sales at a print or other local media site preferred. Experience in retail, automotive or real estate categories very helpful. College degree preferred. The successful candidate will be a self starter and work independently to create a continually billing list of clients who realize ongoing success with advertising on WWLTV.com.
