THIBODAUX, La. -- A man is behind bars after police said he threatened a woman's life during an attempted armed robbery in November and said she was lucky he let her live.

Police said 23-year-old Deangelo Coleman got out of a Chevy Camaro the morning of Nov. 26, and pointed two guns at a woman sitting in her car in the 1400 block of Eagle Drive.

After the woman said she didn't have anything, police said, Coleman got into her car and told her to drive home. While driving, Coleman allegedly told the woman she was driving too slow and that she was lucky he was going to let her live. Then, authorities said, Coleman jumped out of the car and ran away.

Police said an anonymous tip helped them find Coleman, who was allegedly hiding in Terrebonne Parish.
