A West Hollywood club once named the best gay bar in the world has put a ban on bachelorette parties inside the establishment, according to KTLA in Los Angeles .
The Abbey had previously allowed bachelorette parties as long as no one wore costumes, but the bar's owner says he doesn't want to host them anymore in the wake of gay marriage bans in California.
The owner says the bar still welcomes straight men and women inside, but just not for bachelorette parties.
