TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say a Florida deputy was thrown off his motorcycle while escorting President Barack Obama's motorcade to the Port of Tampa.
The sheriff's office reports that 37-year-old Chad Keen went over a large speed bump. He hit the pavement and suffered scrapes and a possible dislocated shoulder.
The Hillsborough County deputy was taken to a Tampa hospital, and the motorcade continued to its destination without stopping.
