Will Ferrell has announced on Conan that there is a deal in place to produce a sequel to his hit 2004 hit film "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy."
In addition to Ferrell returning to play what has become his most highly acclaimed role, director Adam McKay and actors Paul Rudd and Steve Carell will also return for "Anchorman 2." Judd Apatow will produce.
Ferrell has spent much of 2012 in New Orleans filming "The Campaign." He kept himself busy when not filming, as he reigned as King of Bacchus and became a regular at Hornets games, and even read the lineups for one game.
