A couple in New York City say they were arrested and spent nearly a day in custody for dancing on a subway platform.
The New Yorkers were doing the Charleston to a musician playing steel drums on a nearly empty platform when two police officers approached them and said they couldn't dance on the platform.
One of the two dancers was allegedly tackled to the platform floor after trying to film the encounter.
The initial charge was disorderly conduct for “impeding the flow of traffic.”
