HOUSTON—A pregnant woman went in front of a judge today after being accused of driving drunk with a child in the car.
Stephanie Santana was charged with driving intoxicated with a child, child endangerment and drug possession.
Police say she was drunk when she passed out in her car earlier this week. She also had a baby with her in the car.
Officers say they found a beer bottle in a diaper bag.
Earlier that evening, Santana went into a tattoo parlor and tried to get a piercing. Workers turned her away because she appeared drunk, then called police.
