Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma and Sports Illustrated's Peter King had a scuffle Tuesday night on Twitter, with Vilma calling out King for his tweets on the bounty scandal.
The exchange started after King posted a message on Twitter about the Saints recent signing of David Hawthorne. He is one of three linebacker additions the Saints have made this offseason.
Curtis Lofton, Chris Chamberlain, David Hawthorne. Get the message, Jonathan Vilma?

Vilma responded:

@SI_PeterKing reckless journalism is beneath you sir. You've become a glorified blogger

King then implied he was reporting the facts of the investigation.
RT @JonVilma51: Reckless journalism is beneath you sir. You've become a glorified blogger ... It's the NFL investigation, Jonathan. Not me.

@SI_PeterKing the nfl investigation has NOTHING to do with ur tweet. You've now turned into a blogger who takes shots at players on twitter

Vilma then called it a night:
@SI_PeterKing not going to go back and forth with you, enjoy your night sir.
