NEW ORLEANS - The Channel 4 family is remembering someone whose 'behind the scenes' precision and attention to detail for decades allowed our on-air shows to run so well, especially in the news studio.

Paul Brown kept the live news shows on pace for all of the legendary newscasters. When you saw Angela Hill and Garland Robinette or Bill Elder or Dennis Woltering on camera, it was floor director Paul Brown keeping them on target.

Paul worked as a floor director and camera operator here for more than 35 years, having a hand in thousands of newscasts and productions during that time.

He died last week at the age of 69.

Funeral services will be Saturday in Greensburg, Louisiana.

He is survived by two sons.
