NEW ORLEANS -- Police are investigating a double shooting that left two people injured early Sunday morning.

The incident happened shortly after midnight at the corner of the I-10 Service Road and Crowder Boulevard.

An initial report said a 16-year-old boy and 33-year-old man were at a stop light when they heard several shots. Both realized they were hit and drove themselves to an area hospital, police said.

There is no word on their injuries or conditions.
