ZACHARY, La. -- The man who confessed to stabbing and strangling his girlfriend's convicted molester was found guilty of second-degree murder Thursday according to our partners at The Advocate,

Jace Crehan, 23, faces an automatic life sentence.

According to The Advocate, Crehan exacted "vigilante" justice in 2015 when he killed Robert Noce Jr.

Noce pleaded "no contest" sexually molesting Crehan's girlfriend, Brittany Monk, as a child just 13 days before his death. He was sentenced to five years probation.
