BATON ROUGE -- A 33-year-old armed robbery suspect was run over and killed by his two alleged victims, according to a report from our partners at WBRZ.
Police told WBRZ that the two victims were leaving a bar in the 3000 block of Government Street around 9 p.m. on Nov. 29 when a man armed with a handgun approached them.
The armed man, who police identified as 33-year-old Corey Montgomery, took one of the victims' wallets, then allegedly opened fire on them after they got in their car and attempted to drive away.
Police say the victims then hit Montgomery with their car. He was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS, where he died from his injuries.
