NEW ORLEANS -- The number of students at a local high school with perfect ACT scores doubled when three Jesuit seniors recently got their results back.

The school announced David Gravolet, David Hart and Charles Korndorffer earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT the seniors took in September.

That raises the total number of current Jesuit students with perfect ACT scores to six, the school said in a news release Thursday.

Jesuit said that in 2016, only 2,235 out of nearly 2.1 million students nationwide who took the ACT earned a score of 36.
