NEW ORLEANS -- Police are investigating an armed robbery early Saturday morning in City Park.
An initial report from police said the robbery happened shortly before 1 a.m.
Police said an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were sitting on a bench near the Morning Call in City Park when two men approached demanding their property. When the man said they didn't have anything, one of the robbers reportedly put a gun to the woman's back and demanded the man's cell phone.
No other details have been released by police.
