NEW ORLEANS – After Eyewitness News asked about leaning poles in Riverbend and Hollygrove, a telephone provider says at least one of the poles will be replaced.
AT&T told WWL-TV Tuesday they own one of the poles and will remove it once utility companies transfer their equipment to a new pole.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also stated another pole that is leaning will be removed in a few months as part of the SELA Drainage Project. However, the Corps did not state who owned the pole.
Entergy said they do not own any of the leaning poles but are taking the initiative by installing new poles.
