BOGALUSA – Bogalusa police say they have located the driver involved in an alleged hit-and-run on Mardi Gras Day.
Police say a four-year-old, who was riding his bike, was hit by an 18-wheeler. The child is currently recovering in Children’s Hospital recovering from a broken pelvis and leg.
Bogalusa Police Chief Kendall Bullen said the driver has been identified and contacted late Friday. He was questioned on Monday morning.
Bullen said the driver was unaware that he hit anything, especially a child.
The investigation is ongoing.
