NEW ORLEANS -- Police are looking for a father and son in connection with threats made at a local high school earlier in the week.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, 14-year-old Wyatt Johnston made threats towards Lusher Charter School Thursday. As a result of an investigation, officers said a warrant for Johnston was issued for terrorizing.

Police said Arthur Johnston, 52, knew his son was wanted but made efforts to prevent Wyatt from being arrested. As a result, police obtained a warrant for the father, citing accessory after the fact for terrorizing.

A photo of Wyatt was not provided to the media.

Kathy Riedlinger, CEO of Lusher, issued the following statement:

"We put our Lusher School crisis plan in place from initial report and are working closely with NOPD. The safety of our students, parents and community members is our top priority. We will notify you regarding plans for classes on Monday."

Anyone with information on either Wyatt or Arthur Johnston is asked to call Second District detectives at (504) 658-6020.
