GRETNA, La. — An oil leak has been contained in Gretna after a leaking tank was discovered at an oil distribution facility.
According to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, workers discovered that a tank was leaking oil during a routine check at John W Stone Oil Distribution LLC.
An unknown amount of oil leaked into a ditch and has been contained with a boom, according to a LDEQ spokesperson.
