NEW ORLEANS -- A third man is in jail after deputies say he was involved in the fatal shooting of a teen whose body was dumped on a Metairie street, according to the New Orleans Advocate.
Angelo Holmes, 21, was booked on a count of second-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Tyris James on Jan. 30.
James had been shot in the head when his body was found in the 2300 block of North Arnoult Road, the Advocate reported.
Two other people, Valentin Martinez, 17, and Chicobi Smith, 17, were booked with second-degree murder charges Feb.1.
JPSO reports that the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
