Jesuit High School president warns order's list will include new names, report says

Fr. Christopher Fronk, S.J. sent an email alert to his staff Thursday and urged them to not assume "that because a Jesuit worked here at some point that the allegation against him involves Jesuit High School.

The president of Jesuit High School warned faculty and staff that new names will be included on a list, set to be released Friday, of Jesuits whom have credible claims of sexual abuse against them.

Fr. Christopher Fronk, S.J. sent an email alert to his staff Thursday and urged them to not assume “that because a Jesuit worked here at some point that the allegation against him involves Jesuit High School.”

According to The New Orleans Advocate, the list from the Jesuits will cover priests, brothers and men studying to become priests in 1955 or after.

“I know there’s a lot of pain, anger, embarrassment, and sadness surrounding this chapter of our school’s past. I feel it too,” Fronk said.
