TERRYTOWN -- Police are searching for an armed man caught on camera stealing tools and equipment from a fire station.
According to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, the unidentified burglar entered the fire station on the morning of Feb. 8, through a door in the bay area where the fire trucks are housed. The burglar then stole fire equipment and tools.
Before he fled, the burglar is seen pulling a handgun from his waistband and pointing it at the firefighters' living quarters.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office officials say some of the equipment was recently found in Plaquemines Parish.
