NEW ORLEANS -- A woman is in jail Monday after police said she played a role in a West Bank shooting.

The incident happened Sunday morning in the 5700 block of Tullis Drive.

Police said 31-year-old Dalencia Allen and a neighbor were involved in an argument over a parking spot at their apartment complex. Later that day, Allen and a male friend knocked on the neighbor's door, and the friend shot the victim four times, police said.

Authorities said Allen ran back to her apartment after the shooting, and the male left the area in an older model black Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Police are still looking for the male shooter. However, they have named a person of interest, a man who goes by the nickname "Black". The man is not a suspect, but police believe he may have information about the shooting.

Allen has been booked with principal to aggravated battery.

Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
