MANDEVILLE - Police arrested a 29-year-old Baton Rouge woman Tuesday morning in connection with the armed robbery of a Mandeville-area Victoria's Secret on Dec. 12.

Alicia R. Maloid, 29, will be charged with armed robbery, which carries a minimum 10-year sentence, according to Mandeville Police Chief Gerald Sticker.

The robbery occurred on Dec. 12 when upwards of five women went into the store in Mandeville and used pepper spray and a stun gun to steal approximately $1,500 worth of merchandise.

A search warrant at Maloid's Baton Rouge home found several articles of Victoria's Secret merchandise and, ironically, Maloid was wearing a Victoria's Secret t-shirt from the company's 'Pink' line of merchandise when se was arrested.
