SLIDELL – A woman is wanted after a Slidell bank was robbed on Saturday, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery occurred shortly before noon at the Chase Bank branch located at 1943 Gause Boulevard East. A woman walked into the bank, implied that she had a weapon and handed a note to the teller demanding cash, the sheriff’s office says.

The woman then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to the sheriff’s office, the woman is described as a white woman with dark colored hair, wearing a black vest with fur hood and white and black scarf/poncho. She is 5’3’’ tall and weighs 160 pounds.

She was last seen on foot headed towards I-10. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office along with the FBI are investigating the robbery.
