NEW ORLEANS -- Tom Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans teams, has been admitted to Ochsner Medical Center with flu-like symptoms, according to The New Orleans Advocate.
Benson, who turned 90 in July was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, according to a statement by Greg Bensel, the organization's senior vice president of communications.
"He is currently being treated for flu symptoms and is resting comfortably," said Bensel's statement. "Mrs. Benson requests and sincerely appreciates your thoughts and prayers."
