WATCH: Saints raise 2018 NFC South championship banner

"We're comin' for that big fella next, though," New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram said as he focuses his camera on the huge 2009 Super Bowl Champions banner

The New Orleans Saints have already begun celebrating their 2018 NFC South divisional championship. Per running back Mark Ingram’s Instagram account, the Saints hung a large banner in the team’s practice facility in the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, LA.You can watch it in the video embedded below, or by following this link:

The 2018 banner joins previous NFC South titles in 2017, 2011, 2009, and 2006. This is the first time in team history that the Saints have won consecutive division championships. Every previous team to win the division has progressed to the second round of the playoffs, and they’ve twice reached the conference championship game. It’s clearly important.

The Saints also added their logo celebrating late owner Tom Benson to the indoor practice facility, which they also have worn on jerseys this season. Check it out below or by following the link to this tweet:

But as Ingram points out in his video, the team has bigger aspirations than just winning their division: “We’re comin’ for that big boy next, though. We’re comin’ for that big fella next, though,” as he focuses his camera on the huge 2009 Super Bowl Champions banner, prominently featuring the Lombardi Trophy. Bringing home another Lombardi Trophy is what they’re all working for.
