Is that really necessary?
The New Orleans news paper The Times-Picayune used its front page Monday to fire a shot at the Atlanta Falcons.
The page featured Philadelphia Eagles (and former LSU player) cornerback Jalen Mills covered in confetti after Super Bowl LII with the headline, "BIRDS OF PLAY". Under that, they delivered the blow to our Falcons, "Unlike, you know, those Atlanta birds".

Yes, Time-Picayune, we remember last year. We remember the heartbreak that we felt when the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots. We've moved on. Can't you? Perhaps this article might explain some things.
At least the Falcons can say they took eventual champions down to the wire in a 15-10 playoff loss. The Saints blew it in the final seconds in their playoff game against the Vikings.
(For the record, the Falcons and Saints split their series this year. The Falcons won the first game, held on Dec. 7 20-17 in overtime. Seventeen days later, the Saints avenged that loss with a 23-13 win over the Falcons.)
