Alexandra Cranford - WWL-TV Meteorologist

A stretch of mild, pleasant spring weather is underway!

Enjoy a partly cloudy Monday afternoon with temperatures in the low 70s. It turns cool tonight as temps fall into the 50s.

Tuesday and Wednesday look a tad warmer but still nice with afternoons in the upper 70s. Our average high right now is 80, so temps will stay a little lower than average through the week.

A few spotty showers are possible early Thursday as a weak front slides in. Slight rain chances continue on Friday, but it looks like we'll have just a few isolated showers at most.

Overall this weekend looks fantastic for Jazz Fest, the Zurich Classic and other events. Expect cool-ish mornings in the 50s to near 60 and pleasant, mostly sunny afternoons in the upper 70s.
