FOLSOM - The Global Wildlife Center almost always looks like you've stepped into another country, turn the corner onto the road that leads to the center and seeing giraffes bound about is always something to see.
Friday, Dec. 8 took it to another level as 6-8 inches of snow - an extreme rarity in southeast Louisiana - fell on the animal oasis.
