Dave Nussbaum - WWL-TV Morning Meteorologist

Get ready for a gorgeous day with low humidity and mild temperatures as an area of high pressure moves over us. We will see plenty of sunshine with high temperatures in the upper 60s. Tonight will be clear and chilly again with lows in the lower 40s north and upper 40s south. Break out the jackets again!

More pleasant weather is expected on Thursday and Friday with plenty of sun each day. We will see high temperatures warning back into the 70s each day. Lows will be in the 40s north and 50s south.

The area of high pressure will move east of Louisiana for this weekend. That will allow southerly winds to return and they will help to really warm us up!
