NewsWatch On Channel 15

Launched on October 20, 1989, WWL-TV's NewsWatch on Channel 15 is a 24-hour local news channel. The first of its kind in the country, Channel 15 continually rebroadcasts WWL-TV's powerhouse newscasts to nearly 290,000 cable television households in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard and St. Charles parishes.   It was created in response to the growing number of people whose busy schedules did not permit them to watch a newscast at traditional broadcast times.  Whether arriving home from work late or leaving the house early for errands, viewers in southeast Louisiana have access to local news on demand.  Channel 15 successfully serves the needs of an entire market of "on-the-go" consumers - an affluent demographic for your advertising message.

My 54

The newest addition to the WWL family is My54, a sister station to Channel 4.  Broadcasting from the French Quarter, the channel captures the flavor, fun and festival of Louisiana.  It is a My Network affiliate that airs wide array of comedies - including “House of Payne" and "Meet the Browns"   from New Orleans favorite son Tyler Perry.   There are also dramas, game shows, sports programs and news shows.  On weeknights, My54 airs “Eyewitness News at 9”, a 9pm newscast produced by Channel 4’s acclaimed journalists.  The station also broadcasts LSU/SEC basketball games, SEC football games, and Southland Conference football.  Anchoring the station are two local hosts who update viewers on upcoming programs, public service campaigns and events in the community.   The pair also works to promote local businesses that are connected to the Crescent City in a Sales initiative called “My New Orleans”.
