Hornets can't hold lead, fall to Denver 102-95
With a bit more than six minutes to play in the Arena Friday night, the Hornets were tied with Denver. A little more than three and a half minutes later, New Orleans was down by 10 to the Nuggets.

Collison dishes out rookie record 20 assists as Hornets hold off Warriors 135-131
Marcus Thornton turned to fellow rookie Darren Collison and simply told him that the Hornets couldn’t afford to lose Monday night. Turns out, neither rookie was going to let that happen.

Hornets throw away chance to tie, lose to Memphis 104-100
James Posey knew the situation as he streaked down the sideline, ball in hand and a chance for New Orleans to at least tie Wednesday night’s game against Memphis and send it to overtime.

New Orleans is four spots behind Portland for the eighth and final Western Conference spot and sits in a tie with Houston for ninth. But the Hornets rest on Tuesday only a half game ahead of Memphis in the standings.

New Orleans falls hard at home to Spurs, 106-92
The Hornets ultimately couldn't find an answer for San Antonio and dropped their third game out of the past four. With 21 games left, there's little room for error.
