Former FEMA chief Michael Brown stuck another knife into the back of New Orleanians Saturday in an interview with Politico by picking the Colts over the Saints in the Super Bowl.
Brown, who is known for former President George W. Bush saying "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" in the days following the government's sloth-ish response to Hurricane Katrina, said his pick isn't based on football knowledge, but more where his allegiance lies. "I just tend to follow [the Colts] more and I've just never been a real Saints fan. It's nothing more than that," he said.
Brown deflected criticism in the interview, saying his bashers "can't get over the whole Katrina thing."
Another bit of news: Brown now has a conservative radio show of his own. Yeesh. Well at least hell has already frozen over -- another good sign for the Saints heading into the Super Bowl.
