METAIRIE, La. ― Free safety Malcolm Jenkins missed his third straight practice as the Saints finished up their three-day minicamp at the Metairie, La., headquarters.
Jenkins banged his left knee against the knee of one of his teammates Friday afternoon and sat out both practices Saturday. Sunday marked his third-straight absence.
“He’s day-to-day,” Head Coach Sean Payton said. “A lot of it is dependent on the swelling. We’ll see and fortunately, it’s just that.”
Otherwise, the usual suspects sat out or were limited in Sunday’s session.
Linebacker Clint Ingram (knee), safety Darren Sharper (knee), receiver Robert Meachem (toe) and cornerback Glenn Sharpe (unknown) all sat out. Receiver Devery Henderson (sports hernia) and right tackle Jon Stinchcom (sports hernia) were both limited.
The Saints will go through an OTA on Monday before taking Tuesday off to visit relief workers and those affected by the disaster in the Gulf in Plaquemines Parish.
