Hello EOSB players. It’s another edition of Linkage after a mini-hiatus. Computer issues. Don’t ask.

But we’re back for you now.

New Orleans won the first five games handily. The past three – not so much. But no matter, the Saints have come from behind to win. Sunday against Carolina was no different.

The reason Sunday wasn’t different is because the team now knows it can do whatever it wants thanks to the Miami game. Go down by 14 on Sunday? Ha! Bring it on.

Mike Herndon of the Mobile Press Register writes that SS Roman Harper had his best game of this season against the Panthers.

Herndon also wonders if this Saints team can do the unthinkable. That is, go undefeated.

Brett Martel of the Associated Press says this Saints team might be the best Saints team.

Les East of NewOrleans.com writes that though the Saints are 8-0, they’re certainly not a perfect team.

In the Lafayette Advertiser, we find out that Jake Delhomme lost his first ever game in the Superdome.

Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett News Service writes about Saints DT Anthony Hargrove, who has come back from a rough early life to become a critical player for the Saints.

Guilbeau also says that this year’s version of the Saints is transforming the 43-year history of the franchise.

David Roth of the Wall Street Journal believes that the way the Saints are playing, they’re making football fun for fans in New Orleans.

Les East, writing for the Baton Rouge Advocate, tells us that after a rough beginning of the game, the Saints’ defense shut down Carolina’s running game.

Sheldon Mickles, also in the Advocate, talks about how Hargrove is finally in a good place.

Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com writes a tremendous story about Hargrove’s struggles and why Sunday meant so much to him.

Mike Triplett of the T-P also jumps on the Hargrove bandwagon.

Jeff Duncan talks about how a different player steps up for the Saints each week.

Peter King of SI.com says the Saints are one of the top five story lines of mid-season.
