Welcome back EOSB readers.

Linkage is here for you daily Saints fun. Full speed ahead!

The good news out of Saints camp on Monday: HC Sean Payton says that CB Tracy Porter has only an MCL sprain, not an ACL injury as first reported.

Regardless, Sheldon Mickles of the Baton Rouge Advocate says that injuries and errors have marred the 9-0 start.

Mike Florio at ProFootballTalk.com say that the Saints are No. 1 in the NFL despite playing a close game with a bad team.

But the fine folks at bleacherreport.com have Indianapolis as No. 1 and the Saints as No. 2.

Michael Bruck at bleacherreport.com says yes, the Saints have had problems. But now isn't the time to panic.

However, while there have been some struggles, Les East at neworleans.com says that the adversity proves the Saints' elite status.

Brett Martel of the Associated Press writes that though Sunday's win looked ugly, Sean Payton found things to be pleased with.

Ron Kantowski has an amusing anecdote about the Saints in the Las Vegas Sun.

Over at the T-P, John DeShazier says that the Saints are enjoying questions about winning close games. They also realize the target is now squarely on their backs.

Jeff "Tweetup" Duncan believes that the Saints defense, which was a great unit a few weeks back, is hobbled by injuries and giving up yards.

And finally, Pat Yasinskas at ESPN.com believes that Pierre Thomas' stock is falling while Reggie Bush's is rising.
