Finally, it’s game day. How are you going to get any work done today?

If I know the EOSB legion, I know y’all will be doing minimal work and instead, will be frothing at the mouth for tonight’s kickoff.

To get you through the day, here are some Saints links. Linkage has arrived indeed.

Comments are welcome and discussion is warranted.

For the Saints, everything will start in the defensive secondary tonight. New Orleans leads the NFL with 13 interceptions. Matt Ryan is a second-year quarterback who has slowed down the past two weeks. Something has to give.

Meanwhile, WWL-TV.com contributor Ralph Malbrough says tonight’s game will be the most important for the Saints in the next four weeks. A win against Atlanta all but buries the rest of the division.

AJC writer D. Orlando Ledbetter talks about the Falcons and where they stand after the first six games.

Ledbetter also talks with Falcons wide receiver Brian Finneran about the rivalry between New Orleans and Atlanta. Interesting stuff.

Brett Martel of the Associated Press writes that tonight’s matchup is about as big as it gets right now – 7-0 New Orleans versus 4-2 Falcons.

AJC columnist Steve Hummer writes about New Orleans expats, those living in Atlanta and watching and celebrating the Saints big start to the season.

Martel, again of the AP, says that free safety Darren Sharper is looking as good as he ever has at the young age of 33.

Mike Herndon of the Mobile Press Register says tonight’s game is about offense.

Canal Street Chronicles puts pen to paper – or keyboard letter to Word file – and talks about three keys to a Saints victory.

Sam Farmer of the LA Times writes why the Falcons are wary of tonight’s matchup. Two words – Saints secondary.

And locally, Jeff Duncan of the T-P believes that all this talk about an undefeated season is valid for one reason: Drew Brees.

Mike Triplett talked with various people, all of whom believe Darren Sharper is one of the elite safeties in NFL history.

Les East of the Baton Rouge Advocate lets everyone know that the Saints are on pace for a scoring record.
