And we're finally back in New Orleans, trying to get back into routine. It's tough. Much colder here in New Orleans!

But there's still plenty out there to link to about the Saints, especially after Tuesday's rousing victory parade on "Dat Tuesday" or "Lombardi Gras." Take your choice of monikers. Both work. It was crazy out there.

If you didn't love Drew Brees already, well, you will now. How much does he understand his and the Saints' connection with the fans? After the parade, he ventured into Lucy's Bar in the Warehouse District and treated the patrons to a rendition of his pregame chant.

Speaking of that parade, it was all of the Super Krewes rolled into one: Let's call it Endymiorpheacchususes. Or how about just the Krewe of Lombardi?

Not everyone was thrilled with the parade, however. Those trying to catch a flight to Los Angeles, well, they're wee bit peeved.

The New York Times gave some updates throughout the day about the parade, then wrote a full story about it. Yes, a Saints victory parade was newsworthy in the Big Apple. Just goes to show you that the Big Easy is better than the Big Apple.

Ramon Antonio Vargas of NOLA.com talked with Kern Studios, who said Tuesday's parade could have gotten nearly 800,000 people downtown.

That certainly helped snarl traffic, too.

Locals weren't the only ones in town covering the parade. Indeed, ESPN News broke into coverage and showed the parade.

Local photog extraordinaire Sean Gardner captured some still photos of the parade.

McClatchy News Service talked with fans about the Saints, some of whom said they wouldn't have missed the parade for anything.

Leslie N. Dees of the (Kosciusko) Star Herald said local Saints fans were celebrating the win.

And yes, the celebration went international, with the BBC documenting the parade.

USA Today wonders what teams mean to cities. The Saints, I believe, mean more to New Orleans than any other team in any other city.

Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett News Service talked with people as they watched the Saints parade roll through.

That was all Tuesday. What happened Monday? For the Saints, their Sunday night victory lasted into Monday morning.

Where were you Sunday night? Amy Nelson of ESPN.com was in the French Quarter and this is how her night went.

Jimmy Smith of NOLA.co writes a splendid story about the longest-tenured Saints employees, those who have been with the organization for 30-plus years.

SI.com's Don Banks looks ahead to the 2010 season and what the Saints will do or try to do in regard to the salary cap, or rather, the lack of salary cap.

The Daily News of New York says

New Orleans has reason to celebrate.
