Welcome to a special Christmas Day edition of the EOSB's Saints Linkage. Merry Christmas from the WWL-TV family and from WWL-TV.com Sports.

We're two days from the Saints' possibly NFC-clinching game against the Buccaneers. What are people saying about the Who Dats?

Grab some egg nog and whatever you might eat on Christmas in your household and join us for Linkage.

The big - well, somewhat big - news coming out of Thursday's media session was yet another sports hernia on the team. Usama Young is now the sixth player in two seasons to have this injury.

One move that's sure to make fans happy is that the organization signed kicker John Carney, whom the team cut Tuesday, as a kicking consultant.

And in WWL-TV.com's regular scheduled View From the Other side, ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas talks about whether the Bucs are playing to keep Head Coach Raheem Morris' job.

Brian Allee-Walsh of NewOrleans.com writes about Will Smith, who is having a career year with the Saints.

Mark Chifici of WWL Radio says the Saints are looking to respond to their first loss of the season.

Les East, writing for the Baton Rouge Advocate, writes about how the Saints are aiming for quicker starts.

Sheldon Mickles of the Baton Rouge Advocate believes the Saints are now playing and focusing on other goals.

Brett Martel of the AP says the Saints still have plenty to play for, including hoping the road to the Super Bowl runs through New Orleans.

Martel also writes about how suddenly, the Saints are failing to get stops on third down.

Mike Triplett of NOLA.com and the T-P talked with the Saints and they want Malcolm Jenkins to stay aggressive.

Nakia Hogan of NOLA.com and the T-P says Jermon  Bushrod is ready to move on from the Dallas disaster.
