EOSB readers must be in delirium these days. Not only are the Saints playing well, they're kind of the talk of the NFL world right now. After wondering where the national media was for the first few weeks, it seems pretty much everyone is on board the bandwagon now.

But y'all were on it first. You can always say that.

Anyway, there's still lots to read about today. Sean Payton and the players were off on Monday, so today is the first opportunity to talk with the team since that triumphant visit to Land Shark Stadium, one the Saints hope is just a first and not an only. The Super Bowl is there this season.

Grab your beignets and chicory. Enjoy.

As always, comments are welcomed and discussion is warranted.

Jim Henderson is the voice of the Saints and a man amongst boys. He has also seen lots of Saints games and this past Sunday's win elicited a one-word response: Wow.

Sheldon Mickles of the Baton Rouge Advocate talked to some of the players in the locker room after the game and a phrase kept popping up: season-defining win.

The Associated Press' Brett Martel writes that the Saints are on pace to obliterate the NFL scoring record set two seasons ago by the New England Patriots.

Over at the daily newspaper of choice in New Orleans, Nakia Hoga says that Sunday's comeback was the biggest in team history, matching a 21-point comeback in 1987. I say this one is bigger, though, considering what's at stake.

John DeShazier in the T-P believes that the Saints are making the improbable look probable. This team is good. Indeed it is.

Here's another amazing stat: The Saints lead the league in takeaways. No. Really. The same unit that couldn't get anything a year ago is stealing like crazy this season.

Clark Judge continues to have Indianapolis as the league's top team.

Bleacher Report, meanwhile, loves the Saints and has them No. 1 in the league.

Meanwhile, down in Miami, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano is taking the blame for the timeout that gave New Orleans a chance for the game-changing touchdown prior to halftime.

Up in Shreveport, Drew Pierson is trying to figure things out: Cheer for the Saints or cheer for the Cowboys.

And finally, Les East believes the Saints win on Sunday is the best in franchise history.
