So, it's a special day if you're an NFL fan. For the first time ever, the NFL Draft gets going in prime time and if you're a Saints fan, you're going to have to stay up late.

They're the Super Bowl champions. They have the last pick. Life couldn't be better, right?

There are literally hundreds of mock drafts on the interweb. I couldn't get to all of them. But I figured I'd compile a list of some interesting ones. If you see one that I haven't linked to, feel free to add it in the comments section.

The EOSB thanks you.

Since the NFL has a home website that we like to call NFL.com, we'll start there. Pat Kirwin likes Sam Bradford first. Who doesn't? He also  has Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon gonig late.

Back here in New Orleans, Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune hosted a Draft roundtable Wednesday night. Here are the picks from local media members.

Peter King of SI.com also goes with Bradford at No. 1. OK. I'll stop with that. Like most other folks, he likes defense for the Saints. But he goes in a different direction.

The NFL Draft Report is in agreement with lots of folks who believe the Saints need to go with defensive interior.

The much-respected Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times likes a West Coast guy for the Saints.

Friend of the EOSB D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution thinks the Falcons will draft some offensive help for Matt Ryan. He also thinks the Saints will go defense.

Mark Maske of the Washington Post also goes defense for the Saints, but also goes in a direction most aren't thinking.

Friend of the EOSB Charean Williams, a tremendous reporter for the Fort Worh Star-Telegram, says Atlanta will take Sean Weatherspoon, meaning the Saints won't get him. But they do get someone that Williams is familiar with on defense.

Nationally respected NFL writer John McClain of the Houston Chronicle likes an athletic defensive end for the Saints, but likely not the one you think.

Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune, like everyone else, loves defense for the Saints. It's like a borken record.

The Philadelphia Daily News polled several writers and all had simililar views for the Saints - defense. None had similar picks, however.

I'll give this to the Detroit News.  They think outside the box. The D-News goes with someone rarely brought up for the Saints.

Danny O'Neil at the Seattle Times, at least, goes back inside the box. They like a linebacker for the Saints.

Karen Gurergian of the Boston Herald also likes a linebacker for the Saints tonight.

In the Kansas City Star's well-put together mock draft, the Saints take someone the fans might just love.

Adam Caplan of Scout.com and all around smart and connected man have the Saints going defensive interior.

Over at the Arizona Republic, bob McManaman several of the Saints targets going early, including Weatherspoon to the Giants. But he also likes the Saints to pick a guy who could help the defense off the edge.

Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News picks a defensive tackle for the Saints.
