Turn on ESPN these days and it’s Colts this, Patriots that, blah blah blah.

I know what the EOSB Nation is in search of and it has nothing to do with Indy or New England.

I got your linkage right here.

Midseason reports are now trickling in and at SI.com, Don Banks' midseason observations are littered with Saints references, including offensive and defensive players of the midyear and assistant coach of the midyear.

The numbers never lie. Ever. But sometimes, there are some things hidden inside the numbers. We took a look at some of the Saints’ rankings at midseason and discussed what they mean right now.

And Jim Henderson, everyone’s favorite voice of the Saints, says the Saints record is unblemished and a tropical system was in the Gulf. He can’t believe it’s November, not September!

In the Baton Rouge Advocate, Les East points out that Sean Payton isn’t necessarily ecstatic over the way things have gone recently. Yes, the Saints got the win. But they’ve been sloppy.

Also in the Advocate, Sheldon Mickles says that the Saints are beginning to feel the brunt of being a league-leader. They’re getting everyone’s best shot.

Mike Detillier in the Houma Courier says that Jeremy Shockey is finally living up to the hype that surrounded him when he arrived prior to 2008.

The Associated Press’ Brett Martel says this year’s Saints are making fans proud. Why’s that? They’re way ahead of any team from the past.

Jeff Duncan at the T-P believes one of the reasons New Orleans has been successful this season is that the Saints are taking opponents’ top players out of the game.

John DeShazier says that though you might not be hearing about the Saints’ defensive line nationally, they’re playing at an elite level regardless of exposure.

Brian Allee-Walsh writes that the Saints have shown lately that there’s still plenty of work to do.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch says that the Rams are going at this week with blinders on, trying to work like any other week and not get overwhelmed by playing the 8-0 Saints.

Over at Canal Street Chronicles, saints-nation gives out grades from the Panthers game.

ESPN.com blogger extraordinaire Pat Yasinskas puts out  his stock options this week, saying that Jeremy Shockey is falling while Pierre Thomas is rising.

At CBSsports.com, Pete Prisco looks at some of the players catching his eye and points out how well Jabari Greer is playing.

ProFootballTalk.com put out Week 9 power rankings and yep, your Saints are No. 1.

BleacherReport.com has New Orleans in the same place.

And over at Chicks in the Huddle, nolachick puts out her list of things the Saints should keep doing and things they need to stop.
