Women of WWLTV past and present took part Friday in a cause close to many of their hearts - breast cancer.
Current WWLTV anchors Angela Hill and Karen Swensen as well as former WWLTV anchor Hoda Kotb took part in the Komen Breast Cancer Salute to Survivors luncheon at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park.
Swensen was the emcee while Kotb, a breast cancer survivor herself, served as the luncheon's speaker.
Breast cancer survivor Mickey Charardy received the Outstanding Person Award.
In all, $450,000 was doled out to local organizations who help women with breast cancer.
