05:38 PM CDT on Thursday, May 8, 2008
At a press conference, Gretna Police announced two men were arrested for homicide, while they have an arrest warrant and are searching for another man, as new evidence and information spurred the investigations.
On Wednesday, Demond Tanner and Randolph Johnson were arrested for allegedly killing Kevin Chambers on Nov. 29, 2007.
Chambers was killed for testifying against Tanner in another homicide investigation in 2002, according to the Gretna Police.
A tip came from Crimestoppers, and police believe that they found the possible murder weapon.
Grenta Police are also searching for Alfred Picou for second-degree murder. Police believe that Picou killed Michael Warburton, who suffered extensive head trauma and his body was badly burned.
