Man killed in Treme; third murder of the afternoon

A man was murdered in Treme, the third murder of the afternoon, capping a bloody afternoon in New Orleans.

The murder scene of a 33-year-old man in Treme.

Less than two hours after police investigated a double murder Uptown, around 3:30 p.m., Fifth District officers responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of North Roman, finding a 33-year-old male lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said.

EMTs were called and man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Police officials said they do not have a suspect or motive in the crime.
