4 arrested for looting in New Orleans East

After responding to calls of burglaries in several homes, four individuals were arrested for looting homes in New Orleans East, Shereese Harper, spokeswoman for the NOPD, said.

Darrin Haines, 40, Phillip Saunders, 49, Sheila Davis, 41, and Joey Davis, 25, were arrested for attempted burglary and looting, Harper said.

The alleged burglaries took place Friday in the 4300 block of Dodt Street and the 4600 block of Tulip Street, police said.  The home on Dodt Street was burglarized twice.
