NEW ORLEANS - Carnival season went to the dogs in 1992 when the Krewe of Barkus was created.

Six years later, Endymeow hit the scene, proving cats can also get in on the action.

This weekend, the krewe is holding its 10th masquerade ball.

This year's Endymeow king and queen, plus their human friends, were in the studio Friday with more.

The Krewe of Endymeow's 10th Bal Masque is Saturday night at the Cat Practice Veterinary Hospital on Magazine Street.
