One of the older krewes on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish, Rhea decided not to parade in 2010, citing a conflict with the Super Bowl. This all-ladies krewe promises more than a dozen floats, depicting a Broadway theme. Founded in 1969, Rhea is named for the mythological Mother of the Gods, the mother of Zeus.
