Inside the tin-foil filled Krewe of Mid-City den

The Krewe of Mid-City presents the only Mardi Gras parade to have tin-foil designs and not paper mache, giving it a unique flavor. We took a tour of their den to get a look at this one-of-a-kind parade.

Ricardo Pustanio is the brains and brawn behind the operation. He designs each float, which are almost entirely crafted from his hands.

”Everything that you see comes straight out of my head,” he said.
